Nadia Osman: General Secretary & Secretary for External Relations 2003-2004

  • Prepares the Secretariat's program/agenda at the beginning of the session.
  • Calls for the Executive Committee's meetings.
  • Records, prepares and preserves the meetings' minutes and other related documents of the Executive Committee.
  • Issues and disseminates, on behalf of the Executive Committee, all formal letters and memos.
  • Prepares the Secretariats activities' reports for the Executive Committee.
  • Liaisons and interacts with official entities such as women's organizations, city bureaus and counties in support of the SAWO mission, through outreach strategies.
 
Nadia Osman holds a Master in International Relations from Sussex University, UK. and a Bsc. in Political Science from University of Khartoum, Sudan.

Nadia worked as a diplomat in Washington from 1992-1995 and has been on leave, working in the field of the media and communications since 1995. 

Her interests are in foreign Affairs, international relations and gender. She enjoys multicultural interaction and art. She is married and resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
